The machine operates from a roll of heat-sealable packaging material. It forms the sachets in an intermittent cycle, doses the product, creates the seals and cuts off the finished packages.

Depending on the product being packed, the machine can work with a suitable dosing system: an auger filler for powders, a volumetric dosing system for granules, or a liquid and paste dosing unit using a pump or piston.
